Dancer-choreographer Johanna Nuutinen graduated from the Finnish National Opera Ballet school in 2002. Since then she has been a member of the Finnish National Ballet and created a successful career with the company while dancing soloist parts in works by Ohad Naharin, William Forsythe, Johan Inger, Jacobo Godani, Sylvie Guillem, John Neumeier, Jorma Elo and Jorma Uotinen among others, as well as created her own productions to the stage and on film.
In 2017 Johanna received a 3 year artist grant from the Finnish Cultural Foundation and works now as a freelance artist.
Movement and performing are Johannas passions. The starting point for the 3 year workshop project organized by Kinaestheticians association is to investigate different aspects of physical performance and share the knowledge with as many as possible artist working on the field of performing arts.
Jarkko Lehmus has worked internationally on the field of dance and performing arts since 1995 as a multi-disciplinary dancer, dance teacher, choreographer, director, actor, artistic director and producer.
In his artistic work Lehmus concentrates on physicality, imagination, emotions and empathy. He is especially interested in combining different art forms and the collaboration between art and science.
In 2005 Lehmus was awarded together with Diana Loosmore an Herald Angel Award for Excellence for performances of Ashley Page’s works at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
